Identity verification
Credential analysis and identity proofing are separate checks.
Approved technology evaluates an identification credential. Identity proofing may also include dynamic knowledge-based authentication (KBA). The provider creates and evaluates those questions; the notary cannot see answers, supply answers, or override a result.

Location & eligibility
The Texas online notary must be in Texas.
The signer may be elsewhere, but the notary must be physically located in Texas during the act. The document, receiving party, technology, signer circumstances, and applicable law must also allow remote notarization.
Aligned Print & Scan is based in Waxahachie and serves local Ellis County customers who may also need Mobile Notary service when remote notarization is not suitable.
