General Service Terms
Aligned Print & Scan is a Texas commissioned notary service provider offering remote online notarization, mobile notary services, and document support services. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal document drafting.
Clients are responsible for reviewing documents before signing, understanding the contents of documents, obtaining legal guidance when necessary, and ensuring documents are complete before notarization.
Identification Requirements
Valid government-issued photo identification is required for all notarizations. For Remote Online Notary sessions, identity verification and credential analysis may also be required through the RON platform provider.
Remote Online Notary Services
RON services are conducted through secure audio-video technology platforms approved for Texas online notarization requirements. Sessions may be recorded as required by Texas law. Identity verification, credential analysis, and knowledge-based authentication may be required.
Clients are responsible for having a stable internet connection, a camera-enabled device, adequate lighting, and a quiet environment.
Mobile Notary Appointments
Mobile appointments are available by scheduled appointment only. Travel fees, wait-time fees, and special-location fees may apply depending on distance, appointment timing, document volume, and location requirements.
Mobile travel fees are required before Aligned Print & Scan leaves for an appointment. The mobile/travel fee compensates for travel time, scheduling, route commitment, and availability, and is separate from the statutory notarial fee or additional services.
When we arrive, the notary will first determine whether the notarial act can legally and professionally be completed. If the appointment can proceed, any remaining balance for notarizations, scan-backs, witnesses, document support, or additional approved services is due before the appointment continues.
Print, Scan & Document Support
We provide professional document support including printing, scanning, uploads, PDF organization, and basic document handling assistance. We do not alter legal content, provide legal interpretation, or guarantee recipient acceptance of documents.
Approved print preparation fees are required before printing begins and before we leave for a mobile appointment or delivery. Print & Scan fulfillment may be completed by digital delivery, local delivery, mobile appointment handoff, or shipping/courier coordination when available. Pickup by appointment is not offered at this time.
Payments, Deposits & Refunds
Payment may be required at booking, before service, before dispatch, or upon completion depending on service type. Required mobile/travel fees and approved print preparation fees may be collected as a deposit before we leave our office.
Completed notarizations are non-refundable. RON platform fees are non-refundable once identity verification or credential analysis has begun. Travel/mobile fees and approved print preparation fees are generally non-refundable once travel, printing, preparation, or scheduling commitment has begun.
Right To Refuse Service
Aligned Print & Scan reserves the right to refuse service for suspected fraud, incomplete documentation, unsafe conditions, abusive behavior, inability to verify identity, violations of Texas law, or requests outside permitted notarial authority.
Document Acceptance
Final acceptance of documents is determined solely by courts, lenders, government agencies, embassies, title companies, receiving organizations, and other third parties.
Updates To Policies
These policies may be updated periodically to reflect changes in law, operational updates, platform requirements, pricing changes, or service modifications.
